I went to Italy for a mere vacation. Unbeknownst to me, I was about to embark on my greatest adventure yet. I left with purpose, discovery, inspiration, peace, direction, dreams, and a full heart. The Italian lifestyle and culture changed me. This country captured a part of my soul that I cannot reclaim back even if I wanted to. I recognized that this is almost a universal experience to most that visit Italy, a phenomena unique to this utterly magical country.
Amy is a creator and brand-builder, armed with the passion, strategy, and vision for creating compelling content that converts dreamers into adventurers. With over 14 years of experience in brand-building at one of Canada’s most esteemed brand marketing and design agencies, Amy boasts a rich career bringing to life renowned global brands and leading marketing communication projects for industry giants like Kraft-Heinz, Mondelez, and Tim Hortons. Amy has fused her passion for creativity and her expertise in brand strategy, leading her on her journey as a travel, beauty, and lifestyle influencer, and more recently, as the Director of Content & Creative at a Canadian digital magazine, where she led branded content and business development initiatives.
In 2023, Amy returned to Italy visiting Roma and Ischia, and came back to Canada leaving a piece of her heart there, inspiring her to build a platform to share with others the pure love, beauty, and generosity that Italy had shown her in 2023…and many times since. Amy’s latest venture, building VeraVita in collaboration with her father, Thomas Pigeon, leverages her skills as a branding visionary and Creative Director, helping Canadians and beyond ignite their inner Italy through imaginative and inspiring storytelling to experience the magic of Italy, Italian culture, and Italian lifestyle.
